By accessing AstroLeaf (https://astroleaf.in), utilizing any Vedic calculator, creating an account, ordering a customized report, or scheduling an astrology consultation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and agree to abide by these Terms.
2. Scope of Services & Astrological Nature
AstroLeaf provides traditional Vedic astrology calculations, birth chart generators (Lagna, Navamsha, Dasamsha), planetary transit tracking, Panchang & Muhurat timings, personalized digital reports, and 1-on-1 astrologer consultations.
3. User Account Security & Responsibilities
When registering an account on AstroLeaf, you agree to provide accurate, current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. Promptly notify AstroLeaf at contact@astroleaf.in if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Intellectual Property Rights & Prohibited Use
All intellectual property on this platform, including but not limited to proprietary mathematical calculation algorithms, SVG birth chart renderers, custom styling, PDF report layouts, original editorial content, and the AstroLeaf brand identity, is the exclusive property of astroleaf.in and protected under copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.
Strictly Prohibited Activities:
- Engaging in automated scraping, bot crawling, data extraction, or indexing our calculation engines without prior written consent.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the underlying source code of our Vedic mathematical algorithms.
- Reselling, commercially redistributing, or white-labeling our generated reports or calculator outputs as your own product.
- Submitting fraudulent birth parameters, falsified payment details, or malicious code designed to disrupt site operations.
5. Pricing, Orders, Taxes & Payment Terms
All prices for premium reports and consultations are displayed transparently prior to checkout. Payments are processed securely in Indian Rupees (INR) or international currencies via authorized payment gateways (Razorpay). Prices are inclusive or exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) as specified during checkout.
6. Disclaimers of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
AstroLeaf services and calculations are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- AstroLeaf disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy of predictive interpretations, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted service availability.
- AstroLeaf shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from decisions made based on astrological readings, calculator results, or consultation advice.
- In all cases, AstroLeaf's aggregate financial liability shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the dispute in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AstroLeaf, its astrologers, officers, and team members from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of our services, or infringement of any third-party rights.
8. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any dispute or controversy:
- The parties shall first endeavor to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation for a period of thirty (30) days by contacting our support desk at contact@astroleaf.in.
- If unresolved, the dispute shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to appropriate legal proceedings or online dispute resolution (ODR) mechanisms in India.
9. Statutory Duties of the User / Data Principal (DPDPA Section 15)
In accordance with Section 15 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, while accessing AstroLeaf calculators, reports, and services, you agree to fulfill the following statutory duties:
- No Impersonation: You shall not impersonate another person while providing personal or birth data for any specified purpose (Section 15(b)).
- No Suppression of Information: You shall not suppress any material information while furnishing identity or verification details (Section 15(c)).
- No Frivolous Complaints: You shall ensure not to register false, misleading, or frivolous grievances or complaints with AstroLeaf or the Data Protection Board of India (Section 15(d)). Furnishing false grievances is punishable under the Act with statutory penalties extending up to ₹10,000.
- Authentic Information: You shall furnish only such information as is verifiably authentic while exercising rights of data correction, completion, updating, or erasure (Section 15(e)).
